Oak, definitely oak. Stained red...it's red an aggressive color maybe they should have stained it a duller sage stain.

the pics from there would be great, have you ever thought of coming to the uk and digging up anything we might have that we know nothing about?
you pics are awsome motts you really know your stuff i spend hours on here looking at them all, and i do it b4 bed i shouldnt but i do, may be my dreams will inspire me as im determind to write a book based on some of the dreams i have as they are truly bizzare, i have one vivid and over active imagination, needless to say it would be a gruesome horror story , not that your pics are they are fantastic but they do set the mood!
