Coagulation

Coagulation

This is a coagulated puddle of blood at the end of the trail. Apparently Goddog was messing with a broken window, and sliced his hand pretty bad.

A creative lie would've made this frightful photo a Byberry legend!
True, but then I'd soil my good name once they found out... 8]
isn't that a lot of blood to come from just someones hand?
not if he sliced and artery, good thing he was already at the hospital, lol
iz that real
as I recall from changing goddog's bandage...14 stiches. he didn't just cut him self he gashed himself trying to let some air into a "hangout" room
I assure you all that is my blood and it wasnt fun gushing it out. I was alone at the time too.
I live near this!! Its scary
Dinner anyone?
MMM MMM good! Nothing like a nice pool of gore to wet my appetite
It tastes great on a Ritz cracker.
You ate Goddog's blood on a Ritz cracker?!?!?!?! Did you at least wash your hands first? =8-o
A Ritz cracker? Townhouse crackers are much better. They have a more buttery taste to them to compliment the coagulation of the blood.
very nice -- the blood looks amazing, goddog... i miss our IMs. ;]
just trying to add to the ambience, gd? ;)
p.s. please, do try to be more careful next time. i hope your hand healed alright. if you're also a guitarist i sure hope it wasn't your left hand (unless you're left-handed).
yo wen were all these pics taken becuz i never seen this wen i was in that room
This calamity occured back in the summer of '03. The room has since been blackened and burned, about a year and a half ago.
Why do people burn and destroy this place. It is so disrespectful.
completely fucked up. Would u recomend going their at night becasue we are thinking about it?
its so much better at night cause alot of people are not there its fun...bring lots of flash lights thou
Trust me, a lot of blood can come out of your hand, especially when you are drunk and have been messing around with broken glass. Ask anyone who has been drunk and inside of an old building. Or as in my case, dropped their beer and attempted to pick it back up.
I got cut on a window also.
I ended up riping off one of the shirts i was wearing to use it as a bandage.
Again: Harmless fun=GOOD. Fires and broken glass=BAD.
ok what the "FUCK" IS THAT
The blood of Goddog. Bless his heart.
always travel in two's for that exact reason!!!!
See this is why I read the comments there are STILL pictures I have yet to see this being one of them.

My God... why would people start fires in this amazing place?
I'm so mad I'm Canadian right now, I wanna go there.
well now you just defaced the place. just like those who would spray paint the abandoned buildings.

still like the picture though. blood and gore, i want more!
haha wawa bag<3
What's that thing in the puddle of blood, to the far right?
An empty pack of cigarettes?

Man that must've hurt like stinking hell... sheer luck was not passing out right there.

I cut a finger once, sliced to the bone, and the thing bled so much I got dizzy and went straight down.

Well, luck or I'm just that big a sissy =P
It adds a nice touch to the place.
I don't believe I called Byberry a party pit. The gallery description was an account of what happened to me there, and I think the memories I wrote down were rather objective. If you think it was a party pit then that would be your opinion and not mine.

I know these places only by the history and the real life experiences I have had there after they closed. I choose to write about both and display the photos I took as honestly as I can.
Um, wow. I'd gotten quite used to assuming that everything that looks like blood in these photos is just rust or whatnot... I actually thought you were kidding in the previous shot.
GODDOG! I did something stupid again!
Smart reel smart
OMG!!! VERY SCARY!!!
I thought it was a diaper.

And my kitchen had those tiles once.
I have to laugh - GodDog was interviewed in the article in 2006 "No trespasser has ever been injured" What now? Whose blood is that then?!
I am loving all these pictures narrated by everyone who was there

yeys!
crazy shit
yummy...lets eat!
Go get a spoon....and some crackers!
wtf u mean there is a fucking organ on the right of it....
It's a carrier bag, isn't it?
