Hangout Room

Hangout Room

We followed a blood trail to this hangout room, you can see some stains on the sheets covering the couches.

This room was set on fire some time ago. Most of the useable furniture is just about gone but there are still a few items here and there. I can remember about a dozen "hang-out" rooms that went up in flames but someone always manages to set up another one.
looks nice
i worked there from 1972-74. did you ever come across my office. the door trim I painted in bright orange.
Tenaj, which building and what room number? I'll run over and take a picture of it if it's still there. Since it was open for sixteen years after you left, it's probably no longer orange, but you never know.
The shot reminds me of a painting by the polish illustrator Jacek Yerka. Has a book out called "Mind Feilds". Look that up.
we found that room yesterday, or i think , there were 3 chairs and 2 couches i think, but anyway it was pretty funny my friend chrissy jumped onto to the couch thinking it was so cool we found it, then the next second she flew up of the couch crying cause she got stung by a bee...lol
-sorry for telling the world chris, but it was pretty funny i know youll see this...
Unfortunately, this room was burned out. The one you saw is probably the one in the "C"s. If you climb out of the window onto the roof of the haunted hallway, it leads to the plastic-ware room on the second floor of the large auditorium. Be careful on the hallway roof, it's very unstable.
Wow! That's so wild that there are hang out rooms in Byberry. I heard that there was a guy who wandered Byberry with a machete.

You guys are a hell of a lot braver than I am! =P
Byberry might be creepy to some, but it's just an empty group of delapidated buildings.
The whole machete thing is just a bullshit story.
Actually, that's Radical Ed - he takes machetes down there to protect his beer in case anyone gets funny ideas . . . =8-o
how come its never a story about a girl with a Machete?
cause us girls perfer to use an axe, that's why.
or really sharp spoons, :-)
i get so angry when people talk about some guy carrying a machate and all those dumb myths byberry is just a beautiful place to go and explore there isnt anything to be afraid of.
Sneeb, your thoughts on Byberry mirror mine exactly.
I arm myself with a knife and a legion of squirrels.
Squirrels! a whole legion of them? WOW!
me n some friends are going up there for our first time this weekend..we live in DE..any tips 4 first timers??
PuP I went one time I was so scared I didn't go back
but now my son wants to go he is 15. I am
scared to take him
Yeah, it's a shame that there will no longer be hangout rooms like this, =(. But anyways, anyone know why I can't log in to the forum?
There are still a few hangout rooms left, you just need to know where to look. I know of a couple in N-8.
Eh, I'm not going to rush down there anyways, lol not when I'm so close to other hospitals, even though they're highly guarded =\
what building is this in ?
you just gotta know the people that make the hangout rooms or make one yoursef
arent they tearing byberry down?? im thirteen and kind of pissed because by the time i can actually get down there myself it will be gone
i was in one of these "hangout rooms" before and a piece of the ceiling fell on my friend. lol
i'm really upset cause i heard it got torn down, and i really wanted to see it
this looks like theres a dead body under the sheets.............mabye................na.........
i golly i really wanted to go i there to...MAN....shame on the people who knocked it down i heard they where going to build hoses in the empty space .who the hell would want to live there??????
my science teacher said she used to work here, and that on full moons they would lock themselves in therre offices for safety lmao
I still work there
I know someone how cleaned Byberry out of the furniture and used for the Army
the hangout room was in C11 right?
Did they have hangout rooms in N10 because I was in there when they had abatement going on when they chewed on the loading zone and all that?
I would sleep on that couch if it was after they shut down Byberry but you dont know what was on that or if the homeless used like a toilet right?
Right!
This is a very CREEPY picture!!! You were very brave to follow a blood trail cause i wouldn't!!!
i would of loved to take a tour of this place
I would've loved it, too.
Ghosts?
A case of Bud and a couple of "HAPPY HOMES" doses on your tongue...Byberry was our hangout in the early 90's...especially the steam tunnels that hooked-up all the buildings...quickest entrance to the tunnels was through a door in the boiler room...jump through the hallway window and into the boiler room window.... escape point under the chapel and on the other side of Rt. 1, for when the cops arrived...and they always did...We actually had cops draw their guns on us!!! MAN we did some stupid shit back then....BLOOD!!! Whoever bleeds the most WINS!!!! Windows were punching bags that bit back.
Trail of blood...? OMG
