and i would want to go down this hallway because???
You want to find out what's at the other end!
i would want to go because to see if the rumors are true and see if there are really ghosts haunting the old hospital.
I would not "go" down this hallway, i would slide my way through it... But thats just me... :}
I wouldn't 'go down' on anything in Byberry! lol
8-x
;-)
I don't even think I would walk down this hallway with Motts without getting physically ill.
Heh, I've *crawled* through this hallway drunk before, lol!
Don't be scared, the most dangerous thing in Byberry is one's self!
Anywhere, not just Byberry one's inner self can be the most dangerous thing.
Does this mean I should be scared of ~Me ?
Hell, ~Me should be scared of ~Me. ;-)
Lynne,
Well, she doesn't have to be scared of Me but I am very frightened of ~Me
lol
is there really ghost in byberry?
Nope, just the ghosts of once-full beers.
I worked at Philly Stae Hospital 1979-1988 as the recreation guy. I walked down this hall way in Bulding N-8, often.
i go in there with my friends and my mom its not as bad as everyone thinks just a little creepy at first i like it though cause i like what people wrote its funny!
I'd bet its really haunted, negative energy leaves powerful imprints.
Creepy hallway. Reminds me of all those cheesy scary movies my mom watches.

I wanna check this place out, but I'll never manage to get up that way before it's taken down. Nice pic.

yea its bullshit they tore it down we used to chill in there when we were young now there building a retirement home its bullshit
I had a dream about this place... I'm from Nova Scotia and I haven't been anywhere near Philadelphia but I thought I would tell you about it.

I dreamed that I was exploring this place with a group of people. I had a really fancy camera. We wandered down this white cement hallway lined with doors. I went through one door, peered over a wall, and I realized it was a shower stall. It was dimly lit. Hanging from the shower head was a woman's torso. Her flesh was rotting from her body, and a chunk of her blonde hair was standing on end because of the blood. The floor was covered in coagulated blood. I took a picture, we all bolted, and we called the police.

And then some woman and "I" (I didn't look like me) were driving down a highway in a new black Jaguar convertable, lol.

It has been a while since I looked at this paticular gallery, but I thought I would check it out to see if the Byberry hallways matched the one in my dream... naw, the one in my dream was too new looking, but it was pretty freaky none the less.
This picture actually made me a shudder!!
The floor looks....wet. Was it wet? I bet it was wet. Still stained with urine.
i peed in a sink once and it looked like that. dont judge me, its all pipes......
What did it smell like in there?
I really don't want to go to ANY of these places... If I wanted to get scared, I would just stay the night at my parents hotel... THATS scary. It's called the Simpson hotel, it has a long and drawn out 100-year old history. Don't bother googling it. Alls you would get is it's lousy address.
You would think, with it being a haunted historical landmark, it would get some noteriety. Hmmm, maybe I could get one of those ghost investigation shows to come...
i remember walking down this hallway with a group of friends and we get in the middle and heard a baby scream.. we jetted out of there. we went back a few months after and we seen some people on the roof and they said they same exact thing happen to them
