I dunno, I kind of like it the way it is. Yeah, it probably would be cool if it was fall, but the green definitely gives it a calming effect, and I like that.
"Old Main" at Northampton State Hospital was covered with ivy and other vines, then one day a groundskeeper went around cutting the vines off at their bases so they'd die. The place was abandoned so I don't understand it. Of course, they did grow back eventually. By the way, this kind of ivy stays green in the winter.
