Angels Watching Over

Angels Watching Over

Black soot from a previous fire (not the final one in 2006) had covered some of the stones.

Jeebers, I feel small! How high up do these rooms go? I love imagining the people constructing these all those years ago with just scaffolding, "crude tools", and manual labor. That must have been a real bitch, but the product was so magnificent.
God I love the angle, it really makes you want to look up!

I can just imagine the stainglass windows in the arches. It's majestic, yes thats the word...majestic
I love up angle shots and the angels are beautiful, with such fine detail
Wow, that was a lot of damage from a previous fire. How sad.
I think the fire remnants give it character.
Such beauty, and a lot of work that went into this. I love this shot!
Woooaaa. It looks almost godlike!
Incredible shot!
jeez... such detail! i love it
Beautiful! I love the angle!... and the angels :D
Nice angel! colors are amazing.
The fire is a tragedy, but your ability to capture its residue in such a fine photo is amazing...
I can't get over the detail of this place. I'm am going to repeat myself, again, beautiful.
makes me mad to know that someone burnt this down!!! Look at the architecture and etcjings of the stone that is throughout this building!!!
I attended Eden Hall and was in the last graduating class in 1969. It was all on television, but it was so so sad. My mother and grandmother graduated from Eden Hall too! This chapel was beautiful and brought peace to anyone who entered. It makes me sick to think what vandals did to her, what a shame. I have never seen another church or chapel that could equal the workmanship. Eden Hall will always be in my heart!
inspiration unending....
