They actually look menacing.........
I really love those doors!
I'm guessing by the doors this is the "Heavy Duty" dorm.
This picture of doors actually gave me chills!
Now THESE are old style psych hospital doors!
They look almost leather-clad!
Cyber i see what you mean, they do almost look like leather
fantastic!
This would be perfect for the cover of a
Black Metal Album
Oooo I like this one, it looks so different!
wow, I don't like those doors at all. Even knowing it just leads to a ballroom, I don't like them. With the placement of the windows, they remind me too much of surgery doors but with the studs... shudder.
by the size of them u would think they would hold the patients in but i got out god it brings back memories seeing those doors again this is the third time I've seen them 1st when i went in 2nd when i busted out and 3rd right now on this site
Well don't those doors look inviting :).

Whoa Konta, you were a patient there?
I would have nitemares about these doors.
Those are some awesome doors. :) Very lovely.
Nice, i just love rivets!
Doors from more elegant times...

The dungeon
many a time i went through those doors!!!
What is someone behind there eating popcorn ??? :)
LOL
Those doors would be worth a fortune at a scrap yard today. Creepy but beautiful. I love old abandoned buildings.
I like abandoned buildings, too, Larry. In fact, I live close to two of them: I love close to Eastern State Penitentiary and Pennhurst.
Hey Larry I went to Eastern State Penitentiary this morning!!!!
Eastern State is the Holy Grail of abandoned buildings. I'm so envious.
Little freaky
Thank you for keeping history alive with your beautiful pictures. Your artwork truly captures me and is so captivating. What an awesome profession. I'm jealous. I would love to explore through history like this. Again, thank you.
@Larry if you want to go to Eastern State it's located on 22nd St and Fairmount Ave in Philadelphia PA
well i am going thare with friends to see what it looks like mad scary
Mr. Motts thanks for posting the update about the demolition. Seems strange to post this on Halloween. It is really great that KPPC will live on thru your galleries. All the best to you. THANK YOU!
