It's a very cool shot. It would be a real cool Opacity wallpaper. Does anyone agree?
I agree with you C-Note!
yep i agree.. "and now presenting the award for the best picture....." this room has lots of stories to tell...
Actually that would be cool on a desktop.
I would love that on my desktop at work.
I love theater and hate to see one go to waste :(
I agree. Wallpaper! Love this one...
Those poor sagging beams and ratty curtains. There seem to still be a couple lights on those electrics there?
I wonder why they didn't take the lights or put them up for bid back when it was abandoned. That's a several thousand dollar lighting set, and I can't believe that the NYSDMH would let such a thing go to waste.
You'd be surprised what they will let go to waste! The entire site has gone to waste. Oh that bid to restore and renovate the site was axed. BTW.
Awesome composition Motts! The back wall of the stage looks like the side of a huge oil storage tank. I really like the lighting in this shot..Fade the house lights annnnnnnd Action!
The perfect picture to capture the darkened history of psychiatric care. These pictures tell more than a thousand words. They are brilliant! Thanks.
wallpaper indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A really powerful picture...both the performers and the audience are gone...memories live on. And light remains.
I think my brother was telling me about this one like months ago at my dads. He is the true fan of this site!
