this looks very cool picture Motts.
Oh, I love this shot! Great colors and atmosphere and all!
I can't help it.... I immediately thought of Dr.Sketch and how this would NOT be his door..... :P
I believe you're right. He would definately prefer "exposed".
Nice use of light and angle
If 'treasure hunting' is ever OK (And I've had some interesting discussions about it recently in reference to scuba diving) signs that say 'Unexposed' would be great for a photographer.
these open into the darkroom. the cabinet doors aren't able to be opened from both sides, to prevent fogging/total exposure of anything in the darkroom.
omgosh.
this shot is amazing.

i love the colors and the unexposed sign.
(:
I don't know why, but I LOVE this shot. Always impressed with your photography Motts.
An interesting juxtaposition of ideas... a heavy little door that says unexposed.... yeah, I know what it was for.
Was there anything inside?
there was an eye peeping.
The "Unexposed" is kind of like a metaphore for the facility, the facility has bee unexposed to life for 30 years.
This is a neat shot.
they would put files in there about the people that went there in that.
i have a stolen x ray it appears to have a fetus in the pelvis?? i found this on the floor, along w/ other paperwork, this i had to keep...morbid.
Taylor, Xray films went in here. The tech would expose the films in the Xray room, then slide the plate into the cabinet so when they went in the darkroom on the other side, they'd open the door in there to develop the film. The unexposed side held the cassettes with loaded, ready to go films. You keep it in there so they aren't exposed to scatter radiation when you are shooting the one you want.
so love the coloring & angle! i so want this item! =D
i hear that the ladd school is very much haunted is that true?
