The Fogarty Building

The Fogarty Building

This building is actually round in shape, and doesn't look much better on the inside.

It looks like a secret, government facility, like the IRS or some tax holding building.
I'm having some memories about Motts and teleporting right about here . . . .
Kinda looks like a giant shopvac filter with windows.
I love it!
The building looks really out of place
Theres wacky 60's-70's architecture for ya. It looks like it's gonna start spinning any minute. Like that ride at carnivals...Gravitron!
hahaha.
my geometry teacher's name is fogarty.
awesome.
(:
Interesting building. It makes me think of the Space Needle in Seattle, for some reason.
Ugh. Modern design sense.
i remember the first time i ever saw this building in person and i was so intrested in it and when i finally got the chance to go in it i was so amazed!
i went in and was amazed by how not scary it was
Ive been in here many times, and also in every other building,,, i have studied all buildings and know just about anything about ladd... if you have any questions email me at cordoor89@tmail.com
great picture!
The building is different. That's for sure.
the next space shot to mars leaves in twenty minutes
This building has an un-nerving look about. There is something sinister and scary about this building. I am not sure just what it is.......
I get this feeling that there was once a secret governmental department that had an evil plan to do something ? And just what that evil something was, I do not know.............

Well, that was my very first initial thought when I looked at this photograph.

My brother was gonna go there, but there were cops around and said he couldn't... Also, isn't the whole town abandoned and creepy?
i was there last night .. its so much crazier inside.. it looks nothing like it is on the outside
especially at night

and the other buildings around it ... crazy shit
joseph its funny you said that they actually done experiments or some kind of new therepy at the time my g-maw worked there.....a lot of bad things happened there.
hmm im going there tonight with about 12 people maybe.....see if we find anything
love it!
love the black & whit coloring it makes it look so inviting! =D
My parents worked at Ladd School...and I was in my mother's womb when she did work there. The Fogarty Building (aka the wacky circular building) was the hospital. I myself have been in some of these buildings...and as infatuated as I am with these kinds of places, I never want to step foot on the grounds again. I can't begin to tell you the horror stories my mother has told me about what happened in this place. The state police are constantly on the grounds, and many people have been arrested for trespassing. She's haunting, captivating, and beautiful, and a major part of my nightmares.
I live maybe 30 to 40 minutes away from The Ladd School. Friends of mine have been there and they say it's super scary. But I really want to visit here this coming spring. It's cool that this is so close to my house. I live in East Providence, RI.
Strange place. You wouldnt expect to see this in RI. It looks like it would be worth exploring
I love this photo more for the beauty of the sky and the grass then for the shape of this building. Yet on the other hand that dose give it a nice contrast. Kind of like a natural beauty and a man made beast.
