Stunning lighting on the lower landing - makes you want to see what's down there!
Love these stairs and yeah... what's down there?
Probably the heavy-footed thing with the big claws.
The thing i find great is that he waited 5 MINUTES and went up stairs...I'd have been out of there immediately!

That is a classic "Bright yellow panic button" moment.
You are one brave individual Motts! I really like the light coming from the bottom staircase too.
Damn, not as fancy as Hamp Hosp. but what the hell, it's all we have left. Quality, and location, location, location.
god I just want to clean up all that chipped paint
Eck! I just swept and mopped firestairs from up to the 10th floor all the way down to the 1st a short while ago. But these stairs are a lot better looking even if dirty! :-)
Looks similar to the stairs leading to the third floor in Greenbriar Medical Center.
I wonder how long this place has been abandoned, lots of paint chips.
Lovely stair shot... loving that lighting!
I love this photo, Motts. Since it hasn't been vandalized, we can see the damage nature and age have done to the building. You captured it beautifully with the contrast of the stairs, wall with peeling paint and the windows.
That picture is nice. It wasn´t vandalised is good thing to know.
I like staircases. This is a great shot.
