Wwwwow...skies! This is my favorite of the set.
Pretty clouds... that DOES make for a neat capture!
Great drive-in shots Motts!
The Edgemere Drive in Theatre in Shrewsbury, MA just got demolished a month ago. Screen, consession stand, ticket booths, and remnants of the old playground reduced to rubble. They are making way for an Over 55 Luxury condo community.
I've actually driven off having forgot to remove the speaker that hung on the window. Window lost that battle. :-(
Ha, I had a few speakers that got pulled out by mistake. Great days they were, never had a better box of popcorn or hot chocolate. Thanks Motts
The sky above is so beautiful and expanive, I can't express the feeling that it elicits. You be the best my man.
How the hell do you do that? lols
WOW!
That is an amazing photograph. A book is an awesome idea.
I live only about 20 minutes from there. I used to go there ALL the time.
We had a old fashioned drive in just like this here in Cleveland and it closed and the next month it had been demolished. They didn't waste anytime at all getting rid of it. It was sad. We used to go there all the time when I was a kid.
There's a Drive-In in Winnipeg, MB (Canada) similar to this. It was closed down last year, unfortunately. Many fond memories, gone.
Inside the little building to the right is where all the amps should be, if there's amps in there that are labelled Western Electric or Northern Electric or anything with tubes in it. There worth a fair amount on Ebay this could be an untouched gold mine of old stereo equipment
Here in Coxsackie NY we have the Hi-Way drive in theater that has grown over the years to four screens. We are very lucky to have it...This is a great site!!
so many people maybe had their first kiss there awwwwwwwww lol
