i graduated high school in 2003... it seems like such a short time ago. it's amazing how one goes into those places, or looks at the pictures. and thinks from the looks of it that the place has been abandoned for ages, when in reality it was only a few years. there's a hospital like that in my town, that closed in 2001(?) but anyone would think it closed much earlier than that.

Maybe the note was to tell the staff that this was there "last time" being in the hospital and to wish them "good luck" on dealing with the sad paients. Having a MI close down must be like graduating college for those paients. They're finally free, but now they must do something with their life.

i live about 40miles south of this site. i know its been demolished but i still want to go and check it out, ya never know maybe i can get a cool pic or two. ill let ya know
