what a beautiful structure! I wish we had more architecture like this still around!
I agree. Not to upset anyone (honest), but while I don't feel every old hospital should be restored to its former glory, there are some sites like this one (and some hospitals) that were of such beauty it is a shame to lose them.
Why would anyone demolish such a gem as this
That shot tells a story! From the "sadness" of the rain cloud, to the "bittersweet beauty" of the decaying building.

I think I have wood.
God, I love how the foliage is coming OUT of the building like that.
I'm seeing exactly what Weebs is. This is one killer shot Mr. Motts!
And repeating, I agree with Jude.
You can really see the decay in this picture.
I wonder what would be left in 50 years if they didnt demolish it
Wow, that's a perfect shot Motts!

That's OK Jude, so long s YOU don't have.....welll....ummm....neva mind! : o
Like I said, the government is insane
You are so right Mike, this is one that should never have been allowed to come to this!! What are people thinking when they allow history to come to this? I understand progress but at what cost?

We are preventing future generations from knowing where we come from and what amount of grace and care when into building when most buildings now all look like they came from the same cookie cutter.
the former owners have taken away parts of the roof so this marvelous building could rot quicker!!unbelievable but sadly true............
very nice. Add a gryphon and BAM! Perfection.
awesome
This shot shows how far gone this building is.
Gone? No, not gone.

Only getting more beautiful by the minute.

Fantastic shot, Motts.
