nice title! and so fitting with the show of wear over the years. again I love the light coming through! Mr. Motts if you dont mind me asking what camera do youprefer to use, do you have a favorite?
Thanks; I really love my Canon 5D, it's pretty much the only camera I use anymore.
That is insanely beautiful!
Wow! It's like Christmas, each pic is as astonishing or better than the one before it!
So many of us could round the corner to this exact spot and NOT get the beauty out of it that you do Motts. I can't stop looking at this one. LOL
That does look like the bleached bones of a skeleton laying there on the ground.
Oh Lordy Lord! No words . . . . . .
I hope they save that "rose" window. It has to be saved!
Nice colors!
It's so sad that such an amazing castle has to come down. I understand that it's probably beyond hope to fix. I just hope that they keep at least some of the stained glass and other things for a museum or something.
that stained glass is gorgeous. Wish I had that in my house
Absolutely gorgeous.
This reminds me of the place where Cloud stays in the Final Fantasy Advent Children movie... this picture is amazing.
When I first saw this shot, I said HOLY CRAP!!! Then I scrolled down and saw the title.....I said, "Well, I was close...." ; ) This is truly an amazing photo!
Looks like alot of that stained glass is still intact.
I'm speachless
Very interesting
I LOVE that window! Great gallery Motts!
*sniff* I want that window... it's so pretty...
wow, look at those colors!
It's like finding both Hope and a Light at the end of a dark tunnel - totally gorgeous.
that rose window is awesome, too bad that someone does not do something to preserve the treasures before they are torn down.
It is a sin to let that go to waste. Even if the building is irreparable the stained glass window ought to be saved.
gave me chills
Imagine what this must have looked like in its prime! I mean, its beautiful now, even with all the decay. How horrible it is to let something like this go to waste.
I like the stained glass in the background.
this is beautiful
You should see it in real, when the sun is shining through.....Too beautiful for words!!!!!
Sacred!
.......... ........... millions and millions of $'s..
How can something of such beauty be tossed aside with an impression of disconcern...reality, never a close companion, finally slipped away one dark night.
another WOW!!! I LOve your work Motts..you are my hero!

Question: What is the first letter of the word "abandoned?"
