That must of been a great time. I wish I could of been there! Awe, the vying of a lowly Housekeeper!!! Just to be near such a creepy building at night sounds cool. You should check out the Mudhouse in Lancaster Ohio Motts!
No security detail over there I spose. Unless they are bankrolled?

Either way sweet deal.
The building is georgeous! :)
Of course reading the Intro after tearing through the photography... has its disadvantages... lols
i think its really cool that the security guard allowed you all in, if that ever happened in the UK i might have the balls to explore one of these places
Looks like a great time - I'm SO jealous! What a beautiful (albeit damp!) location to camp!
I wish I was there.
Looks like it was a great time!
A great shot of the purpose for being there, love it Motts.
What an amazing oppurtunity , I can't imagine the thrill it must have been for you.
C-Note, I've seen another site with a whole section dedicated to the "Mudhouse Mansion". And yes, Motts you should go check it out! I know I'd love to.
Great shots great building...wonderful Motts
This photograph has the very typical look of young traveling Europeans and the way that they camp out all across Europe.

You should see all the young male and female Germans that hang out at the Hauptbahnhof ( Main Train Stations ) all across Germany. Most of them look to be between the ages of 20 thru 28 years old. The clothing that they wear is a cross between the 1970's Punk - Rock style that was worn in London and the Gothic style that was worn in Germany and throughout the United States in the late 1980's and into the 1990's. They usually sit around on the concrete floor of the train stations in large groups and they almost always have at least one dog and sometimes two dogs with them. Every so often the male Germans like to carry white rats with them. And of course there is almost always a musical instrument close by. Usually it is guitar. The German Polizie ( Police ) talk to them but as long as they are not bothering anyone the German Police just walk on.

I do not know what the name of this style is called.

So did you all sit there with you flash light's and the horror stories late into the night wile roasting marshmallows and eating smors? That is what camping out is all about. EH!
Very interesting insight, Joseph. Thanks! Great shot, Motts....I take it you took this from a mountain?
Thanks, no it was shot from the top floor of the fort, as the building was sort of U-shaped.
BlueEizTru: Thank you for the reply. Some of the photographs that Mott shoots sometimes remind me of other things.
