Mine Entrance

I saw two entrances to the mines from the back of the main building; this one had a track for rail cars.

Now this is cool!
The mine car to Hell is now leaving. Please keep all hands and feet inside the train car at all times.

Highway To Hell
Claustrophobia starts to set in . . . .
Thats just what the mine we went in looked like. The train car we went in on was electric and the car was just a bench long enough for about 8 people. and it had 5 cars on it. it only took about 30' heading in at an angle downward before there was zero light coming in from outside. It was kind of freaky.
Very creepy Motts! You go in first Ozzy.....
Whoa this is just creepy- love it!
Maybe I will go first C-Note!
lynne... im with you! there are coal mines here that give tours where you can go underground, i went, got in the lokie and then panicked and got out! lol Too scary for me :)
Okay, if anything goes wrong......it will happen to you first Ozzy and I will stand out here, safely in the light! LOL!!! Too creepy of a shot! I will just stay out here, shaking like a leaf and be behind Lynne for comfort.
You can check in, but you might not check out!!!!
Thank you C-Note for the support.
Hot damn! That's so neat, I just want to go past the gate... I wonder what's waiting just beyond!
nothing would happen since Darkness is Ozzy's friend.

One word of advice...if you see a bright light at the end of the line, run the other way! LOL
yeah i definitely agree with lynne....just got a bit short of breath looking at this one.
Awesome!! Descent into the pitch black abyss anyone?
The Balrog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As hard and dangerous as mining is, you still get paid for the long ride in. Hopefully there will be a long ride out. Either way, you have time to think about it.
