It's just as beautifull as Bannerman's Arsenal.
And more intact!
Looks like a Castle
first post excellent!!!
This is a very big place, didnt u find a corps in there?
A few years ago they discoverred a body in one of the powerplants.
This place is awesome!
C-Note, my first thought was Bannerman's too. I love the colors!
No, I didn't find a dead body here...
Wow, I never would have guessed this place was a mine.
WAAA! It looks sooooo fun! wow, this place is very amazing!
Hey Motts, you are not the only one that thinks mines are holes in the ground and have little shacks. I never knew they constructed a large building like this for mining. Were you pretty surprised to discover this huge place?
Cheratte is an old friend of mine, and your pictures of it are just delightful. Then days, even industrial sites like this were built with such care and dedication.

It is sad to see wonderful buildings like this to be left to just deteriorate away. On the other hand - it would be even sadder to see them being restaured into something semi-modern, all-commercial like big business HQ.
Outstandin shot, Almost wish I were there....
Astonishing. In Germany or France or also in Italy Terninal could be repaired and a museum of modern art relocated inside. Itself a masterpiece of art déco.
This place is gorgeous
Oh wow.
