Don't know why but for some reason, i'm draw to this shot. NIce shot mott's
Did it smell like beer in there?
Reminds me of the Family Guy episode when Peter and his friends go in one of these and sit in the beer just talking.
Or the movie "Strange Brew."
Is that copper? If so, why is it still there? It's gorgeous - I hope they leave it alone . . . . .
I bet that fermentation tank just glowed when it was used in production and all polished up. It's worth a small fortune for the copper, but as a vintage fermentation tank it would be priceless...not that you are likely to get it out intact...
looks like a giant brass accorn
Mmmm I love the patina.
Usually they are all made of copper-
it looks willy wonka-ish

love these pic motts, cool to see something different!
Yeah the scap dealers would love to come haul those off.
I like the arch on/in the wall beyond and how you lined it up with the curve of the pipe....
it looks like a great big pumkin...
It is amazing to contrast and compare the beauty of old places against the stark utility of new factories, which have no style at all. Thanks for the pics!
This is a fantastic shot, love the aged copper of the tank
I have to ask...what do you figure the purple and the red is from?
OMG I showed my husband this pic.. being a home brewer.. he wants to steal it out of the brewery..I told him good luck getting it back to america LOL.

Awesome shot as well.
Yeah, I'm really surprised no one has come in a started cutting the place apart...copper salvage is a huge thing.
Now, thats one Hell-of-a SOAP DESPENSER!
in my hometown, a big city, people have found a way to open and strip the copper from a certain type of alum power pole.
they would truck these.
There is Purple on the side of it.
The Brew Kettle alone could bring up to $70,000US not in scrap but the value of the equipment.
I don't care how it looks, but I want one of those in my roof.... and full of course and not to share... well, only with Motts !!!!!
Copper turns some pretty colors when heated. also tossed in a campfire makes some awesome colors.
Where's Laverne & Shirley?
If that copper thing had been in sweden it would have surely been stolen by drug addicts.

Im astonished of the lack of grafitti and destruction. It really is a beautiful building.

(I misstook the name field for subject field. tired. sorry.)
COPPER......yyyeeessss...im a scraper, yes ii am
