looks like it has seen better days
it was beautiful back in its day.....
Oh, my gosh! That's incredible, the two photos.
It makes me sad to see what beauty this room once held, and what it looks like now..
Fabulous seeing both photos together. What once was a beautiful, sunlight room now . . .
I am im LOVE with these huge windows, and the curve just makes it even more spectacular, gosh, these photos make me sad.
Oh, that makes me ill!
Any one know what game that first table was? What a sad state of affairs this place is!
its bumper billiards or bumper pool. Its impossible to play.
GOOD LORD THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL! I would love to play in that room I bet it was awesome!
Gosh what a pretty room before.
I'd hate to be the one who had to keep all those windows clean.
BEAUTIFUL!
At least one of those tables is for playing Bar Billiards, a very popular game in Belgium.
Motts, even though the rec room is so decrepit, you make it look equally as beautiful as it used to be. That's talent.
Wow bet that was ace on a sunny day!
wow that is an insane change. It's amazeing what time dose to things.
It just blows my creative self away, Like Lynne, it almost makes me ill. How strange, how lovely. My goodness, I didn't think this kind of passion existed in the realm of living anymore. I shall return, I have dedicated myself more than ever.
To be honest the first image is more beautiful to me
The old picture of this room looks more like a sanitarium than most of the other rooms so far. So sterile and boring despite the amazing architecture.

Great shot of the windows in the reflection of the water, with the island of loose rubble in the center. Very cool! I like the two drops in the water as well- makes for an even more interesting reflection. I wonder if there were just drips, or if something was dropped in the water intentionally for the effect? Either way, great shot!
Thank you; the ripples were from a leaking ceiling above.
To me the current picture speaks more. Here the room is used, defaced and worn down. Yet it still retains the beauty it once had. You just have to look harder for it.
My aunt and uncle had a bumper pool table, it was a hexagon shape and it kept us kids busy while the adults talked.
Yeah Bumper Pool is awesome. it's too bad it's getting harder and harder to find tables.
Its a shame to see what was once so beautiful now in ruins
I'm beginning to run out of words to describe all these pics! And here i thought i had a great vocabulary...for maxing out my vocab. Motts I salute you!
Fantastic shot! Very beautiful and the original state of that room was so nice... all the same, it still retains that playful charm, I find
Oh wow, that is extraordinary.
And again another old picture....

http://www.red-het-mod...uilding/00/10/04.jpg
wow that was once one colorful and beautiful room! it has chaned quite a bit...
I think the before pictures are just stunning really...what a contrast to the now. How sad really.....I guess that really means all things come to an 'end'......but sad too......
it was beautiful once upon a time!
it looks like somthing from titanic.
ALL these buildings were Beautiful back in their day, and even now in their time of stress and decay....they are still Beautiful!!!
Motts, were the windows on the curved portion of this room also curved? The actual panes of glass? Just curious. This building is outstanding, great pics!
