Great light again, what a fabulous shot Motts!
I'd love to have a spiral staircase leading to my attic.
I like the vertigo you get if you look at the bottom half of the stairway
Beautiful....can't wait to see the ATTIC!
This is one of those pictures which looks like you could walk right into it.
Nice! Look how small the steps were. They must have had some tiny feet!
(maybe it's just the angle)
I want to run up and see what is there.
I think it looks like a spine.
Nevermore - you took the words right out of my mouth.
Ooooh. Lovely.
cool shot, I love those stairs! Don't know what it is about spiral staircases, but they certainly have a certain elegance to them!
whats at the top?
awsome shot Motts
My turn for the jaw drop . . . . . . .
I love this shot of the spirl staircase.
Anyone else see the face of a man in the wall? What an absolutely gorgeous picture!
Incredible!
I see the man in the wall. Thanks fangs i didn't see that.
Nevermore/Felyne - Is exactly what i thought.
I'd just like to point out that on January 5 ,2008, - I died.
And this is exactly how I feel.

I agree with all of the above - looks like a spine! Great angle - great photo!
I love spiral staircases so much! So I was happy once I saw this old but beautiful spiral staircase.
Or at least I think it's beautiful. =]
That is great! Gotta love the winding staircase!
This takes me back to the castle I visted recently in New Zealand. They've restored most of it but they've put no effort into the spiral staircase to the tower so it's in a horrible state, with big chunks out of the central column. And those stairs are almost certainly smaller than they look, I had to take off my shoes to climb it and my shoulders almost touched either wall.
Love the spiral staircase.
Unbelievable, if i look close, i ask myself what a prosessional would have build theses stairs.
