This is interesting. If you look at the upper right hand corner, you will see a huge blob.

Somebody threw a gallon of regular paint at the wall? Not likely, as those gallons are heavy.

Somebody smashed a can of spray paint at the wall? Possibly the nozzle was plugged, which made it un-usable, so they smashed it. If this is possible, that would have been a pretty loud noise, as don't they explode when punchered?

Oh, it's a B&W photo. We may never know!!! (LOL)

Funny, I can turn color photos to B&W, but I've yet to see 'colorizing' on any photo program
PB: Try GiMP. It has a colorize plugin that works pretty good...

It almost looks like the wall was cut open and is bleeding...
ive been here that beam used to hold up stairs but the stair were metal so they rotted away
