A pretty sinister looking door lies in the eternal darkness of the tunnel system.

Knock-knock....Who's there?

Ehk, that picture totally scares me.
Great shot! Love the little peep door.
Thats a creepy looking door!
Scary
That is one creepy door!!! But I HAVE to wonder what was inside!!! == : o
Watch out....it's....Hercule Poirot! I'm sorry but Peter Ustinov was THE Hercule Poirot!
Jebus, what atmosphere! This is a fantastic shot!
I would hate to have that door slam shut on me! Ouch!
ETERNAL DARKNESS RULES
Oh wow, could you get it open or was it rusted shut? If not imagine all the stuff left untouched on the other side...
bye bye boys....have fun storming the castle
If I had a door like that on my house, no one would ever be able to break in and steal all my left shoes!
Fascinating, I only wish I could get a closer look.. but, then again, curiosity killed the cat.
i love the door and the detail of the shot itself ie: the rust on the door and the water tracks running downward
I love how the shadows compliment the shot in such a way. It's not a question of contrast, but of atmosphere... spooky all the same!
People, step back, think!!! U could be the one on the other side. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Tree Hugger but just think of who lived and died on the other side???
Ohhh, that is SCAREY
were you able to open the door? it would have been cool to see whats on the inside
No, I'm pretty sure this baby hasn't moved in a long, long time; undoubtedly rusted shut after years of disuse and corrosion.
i love this pic
Reminds me of an old Horror movie, either Frankenstein or Dracula!
Lordy, this was a Nazi owned installation. The whole place smells Nazis and Bush. The photo is gut wrentcing in more ways than one.
Wow, I love how the rivets aggressively stick out across this door. Such contrast!

Motts, I am highly envious of you having the gumption, the agility, and the ability to go to all these places!

I, and no doubt the rest of us here, are very grateful of you bringing to us these fabulous, exciting photos and giving us the history of them when you are able.
"Nobody gets in to see the Wizard, not nobody, not no how!"
door to dungeon??
this looks like the undersea door that kept the Kraken from escaping....
Now that is creepy, not sure if I want to know what is in there.
Ok yes I do want to know what is in there, I just cant help myself.
