Red Lights

Red Lights

The faint glow of red lights hovered throughout the tunnel system, possibly part of a fire alarm system.

Was this painted also?
Great shot Motts! Are those vegetation roots hanging down?
Yup all the shots here except for one or two are light painted with flashlights. The things hanging down are stalactites, most likely made of calcium enriched water hardening over many many years.
I've been in tunnels with calcium completely coating the walls and building up weird formations, that stuff strange. The lighting you've created is amazing.
I really like this
It almost looks like you are going down a snakes throat!!! I LOVE this shot!
The texture of the stones are amazing!
I agree, those stone walls caught be instantly. Please excuse my photography stupidity, but what do you mean when you say "Light painted"?
Now that is eye appealing, the one pinkish/red light amid all the brown.
Incredible - great shot!
to think the flashlight lit up that amazing shot!
That very red light really makes a focal point away from the monochomatic sand colored area that surrounds it.
the light painting makes beautiful effects congrats on your endevours motts
I'm jumping on the great-lighting-amazing-texture bandwagon. Love the shot!
Wow!
The stalactites sort of make me think of the river of time forming everything as the water flows, or something. I'm not sure.
It is GORGEOUS! Like the Dawn's Early Light of Day, it is ALWAYS DARKEST BEFORE the DAWN. That is what I was named after.
Ooooooooo
OMG, the texture and lighting... *is speechless*
Wow........Looks like it's covered in snake skin!!
LOVE this picture! Awesome, Motts!
What could burn?
