This photo is really something, like out of a dream scape.
Why is this beautiful place abandoned? I am surprized it has not been restored. It is really something and would make a great tourist attraction.

Thank you for sharing the beauty of the places you explore with all of us.
We strange human beings! The world we create. We build, and we let it decay and fall apart; cheaper to build new than to fix and renovate. We are so rich, we think, - but we are NOT, and we think poorly. May be the root to all evil is just plain greed? Would someone fix it and live there if it was given away? May be and probably, too. Cost of heating? Well just close some rooms in winter, old-school, like we do in our old house, hahaha.
