The ceilings were arched in many places, but the blue color and specific layout was unique to underneath this staircase.
Ehh......plaster over bricklay. Typical. At least the arches were wood carved. In the regency era, alot of the floral and scrollwork were done in plaster. Even the dental work done near the ceilings in most buildings were plaster stretched out with horse hair.
It looks like a lot of the windows are intact, what a beautiful place. Yoo bad the roof has so many leaks
Yup - you've caught me again with those lovely ceilings. Somehow though, I cannot help but continuing to let my eyes wander back to that window...
