Red

Red

The architectural work on some of the ceilings in this place was very ornate and unique.

those cealings have amazing colors
To have been able to come here just 10 years ago would have been something...to compare it to these shots...Beautiful ceilings here...are those light sockets?
Wow...what a ceiling. Amazing color.
Awesome!
this is my favorite picture, I love the Red ceiling. Fantastic!
wow, they look like spiders on the ceiling!
Trully Baroque French!
Wow, it kinda looks like there is wood under the red paint if im seeing it correctly. My guess is that chandeliers were once hanging from those ones that are projecting away further from the ceiling.
It would be on hell of a job to try and paint that celling.
It sure looks incredible though.
Amazing. To me it looks like spider webs.
and to me they look like giant barnacles!
Absolutely cool I want ceilings like that. But if they're Baroque why not fix them O_o
Painting this would be a %itch !
Beautiful!
It looks like an ornate wood panelled cieling under the paint...JAVA i was thinkin the same thing about the chandeliers....I love this place!
What an amazingly beautiful color! This screams "Wallpaper!"
Tsk! Tony everyone knows those are soap dispensers.

Motts the red in the ceiling is so striking against the white.
Wow, that ceiling is quite nice. I wish I could've seen it pristine... must've been something to behold back then
Darn it! I missed commenting on a soap dispenser by two posts! Ah well, it's an improvement!

I love the way the arches on the ceiling match the arches on the windows, now that is attention to detail!
And I missed by 3!
I just love the way the white portion of the ceiling meets the corners and wall of the room. You caught that well in your photograph. Was that ironwork Motts?
fantastic picture. WALLPAPER!!!
They seemed to be made of wood... each piece that protrudes down has a carving of some sort; the larger ones have scenes of people wrapping around the circumference, and the ones against the walls are adorned with faces and figures.
Makes me sick to see this deterioration. The craftsmanship is exquisite.
Wow I like that! :P
Beautiful. The contrast in color makes the architecture look even more stunning. I love the angle.
My first thought was a sprinkler system. But then soap despensers came to mind. I'll go for soap despensers. What do U guys think?
I never get how and why they let something so beautiful fall into ruins
How unique!!! I've never seen anything like that! It's beautiful!
That is really cool!!
love that color
Great color and I LOVE the architecture!
I can see it now....Wonderful fairy tale castle for sale with beautiful details...slight restoration needed...
Very striking! Thankfully the red color still exists for the dramatic contrast.
Spider Man, Spider Man...
While it's pretty, all I can think of when I see this is 'spiderwebs'. Lots and lots of spiderwebs *shiver*
Considering this pic was posted and first commented on almost 4 years ago and here I am with Winter Stardust in 2011 still commenting on it, I think that means it's a great picture! And I have to say, That is the most BIZARRE ceiling I've ever seen!
wow beautiful
