As an artist, I would have to saw that looks like a great place to have a studio! Lots of inspiration all around... Perfect place, indeed.

Maybe it was an art therapy room at one time?

That green paint seems to have been popular in that era... all the rooms in my house are painted in that green under all the paint layers accumulated over the years.

I am also an artist and the lighting would be ideal for a studio, I would eat that up! :) It's bright enough to let you see what you are doing without being overpowering.
Other than the possibility of tormented souls in the building, one of these older places would be awesome to make into an artist colony.

my sister used to work at this hospital , its so close to where i live , tomo i will go and drive and have a look if i can, its fasinating
