Panic Button

Panic Button

I'm pretty sure this was in a staff break room; very amusing to say the least!

Fights the urge to push it.....
hmmmm *reaches up* jus once? please? *stomps feet* pleeease?
Oh Yeah!
Don't know exactly why, but this one made me laugh. : )
So did ya press it ?
I definitely need one . . . .
I'm surprised it isn't red, to be honest
Now that's funny!
Don't Panic. They clearly didn't have access to a Guide.
Pressed it a few times, nothing happened. Maybe it was because I wasn't panicking....
Nice on, Felyne...I LOVE that series...

=D

Yeah, I would have pressed it...

I likes me some big yellow buttons!!! XD
Felyne,

Or a towel . . .
That is just PRICELESS....didja get any pix of someone's finger trying to push it...or a .mov of that? Would be a GREAT animation for an icon!
lol Motts...

I need one of them on my desk at work...it should be mandatory...
WILL HE PUSH THE JOLLY CANDY-LIKE BUTTON??? ( think - Ren and Stimpy, when the media guy was tempting Ren to push the red panic button...( anybody???) He actually got up over it and slapped around it with his butt...funny stuff...oh, never mind...
I wonder how many times they did have to push that....
We all need one of these.
Looks like it might have been used a number of times.
.... wonder if it still works ....
Dang! Was that in case of patient revolt?
Doesn't the label seem very new though??

Perhaps someone found the button and stuck it on as a joke. It just doesn't seem to fit, but then again, you never know...
Niceee!
I want one on the dashboard of my car.....I don't know why, i just do...
Perhaps its use was for patients and staff alike when the soap dispenser ran dry? Now, that really is a cause for panic!
That is by far the most useful button ever made! Who needs a fire alarm when you can just hit the "Panic Button" and run around in little circles panicking.

P.S everyhumandies I know exactly what your talking about I loved Ren and Stimpy.
My favorite character was Ren.
"Stimpy youuuuuu Idiot!!!"
PANIC NOW!!!!!!!!! (cause we're out of milk!)
Then again, some of us froods are so hoopy, we can't even think about panicking.

We just p ut on our Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses and guzzle a Pangalactic Gargleblaster or two, by then there is nothing to panic about.

<<A panic button may also refer to a button used in convenience stores, gas station, or other establishments staffed with a single employee during late hours.>>

or the one I am more familiar with (growing up with family that worked in defense

<<A button in a critical system (such as a nuclear weapons system) used to quickly activate an extreme measure to mitigate an emergency situation.>>
god I would have pressed it
I find this more eerie than comical, really.. Though it's probably a fake label, even the idea of needing to use a panic button while in an insane asylum just gets to me.
Patient rebellion, anyone?
Oooooooooooh big, yellow, shiny button! =D
That's fantastic. If only I had a bright yellow panic button too...
Lol, Everyhumandies! I was thinking about that episode. As well as, from Rocko's Modern Life, "Don't...touch...the green...button." Mr. Smitty, Rocko's boss. Wrong colors, but oh well.
Lol! how funny is that! =D
It probably is a fake, but for all those that find it eerie we do have panic buttons, they hang from our belts and we pull them when in trouble
if its in the staff break room its probably for when they can't find the TV remote. Now THATs panic!
Perfect....everybody should have one!
Must Fight Urge To Push Shiny Yellow BUTTON!!! *Pushes* opps....
Yess!!! A Panic Button!!!
I get entertained by bottons really quickly! So I would eigther press it until something happens... or until it breaks. But no one wants it to break so I won't go to this hospital. lol. But this picture makes me laugh! I love it!
=D
we have one of these where i work, but its black cased.
it doesnt work but apparently when its wired up it links in to our fire alarm board and de-magnetises all of the "things" (technical term) that hold the fire doors open so that once its pressed it swings all of the doors on the ground floor shut.

dunno if thats of any use.
I need one of those, oh wait, my car keys already have one of those.
I so want to press that button
Its a converted Fire Alarm call point, these are normally red so it has defo been painted yellow and instead of glass where the button is there has been a blanking plate put in and where the label that says "panic button" is it normally says "FIRE" in black writing. I would say its fairly new at least within the last 10 years defo
Oh I get it..
Red for Fire Alarm.
Green for Emergency Door Release.
Yellow for Panic Buttons. :P
we had those in my old middle school, kind of gives me the creeps now thinking about it.
yellow is my favorite color too. ):
of course it's not fake! why shouldn't there be a panic button for staff? My mum worked in an institution where she cared for physically handicapped people and she was often attacked. Surely this is for such times?
Gets me why there's a full stop there though ;)
In theaters I think it's for emergency electrical shutoff.
LOL i bet if you hit it a few times it will spt out a couple of xanex.
