Intricate work on the engineering of this machinery, too! It looks like an access door on the connecting rod there, on the left, and to the right. That metal spike going through must be a weight for balance...Another beautiful perspective....
I'm not much into heavy machinery, but I gotta say, these are some gorgeous machines!!!

This is pretty much what I imagined the Nautilus' engine room to look like in all of it's Victorian finery!
Oh, to be able to see it all running. Old machinery has to be one of my favourites...
i agree with you Doctor DEATH, hey, what say you and me make our selves a disign for the Nautilus based on our idea of what it looks like?
WOW I love steam engines and that is a great old beam engine it looks as if it was just shut down
this and some of the like photos before remind me of one of those carpenters level things. Is it just me???? Or what???
