The Table

The Table

An odd table sat in one of the rooms in a newer part of the complex (which looked like staff residences). It looked too ornate for an exam table and too uncomfortable as living room furniture...

awww, the large table is baby sitting a baby lonely chair
A gigantic piano stool, you know, the sort that the seat lifts up and you store your sheet music in it.
"Lie down and tell me about your mother..."
It looks like you can see the shape of a person lying in the dust.
Sigmund Freud was here...
GREAT shot Mots!!! Comical, even.....A SLEW of one-liners comes to mind......
geez, more bizarre wallpaper.......
it looks like the word THE is written in the dust.
This reminds me of an old Gary Larson cartoon where a guy is laying on a shrink's couch and the shrink is sitting in a chair listening to all the guys problems. The doc is noding while writing "Just plain nuts!" on a piece of paper. LOL I love that cartoon. :-D
Well, Doc, I've been having some problems lately....
Can I tell you about it? Yes?
Well, it all started when I was born....
LOL!!!
this is not another catapolting table is it? I dont see any windows close by though.....
Lynne.... can you help me here?
Oh yes - it's kin to the "catapulting urological table of doom" with optional copper pipes. =8-o

kinda makes one think of Sigmond Feriud (spelling) and his with the chair behind one could imagine him siting there and analylizing his patient
looks like were a shrik trys and "conquors" (possiably make things worse) the patcients problems i cant think of the name of the chair ... but they are comfatable
Mott, are you playing with us? This looks like something from Alice in Wonderland. The realy big chair, the tiny little chair and the angle of the shot makes everything look a little crooked and disproportioned. "This is Great"
Its an examination table, a rather old one I'll grant, but an examination table nonetheless.
Looks like a quite sturdy piece of equipment.
I never promised you a rose garden....

They mummy wrapped patients and strapped them to tables just like this one...

My understanding is that there was a time when England was big on mechanical restraints - more so then even in the U.S.
Tell me how you feel....
It's a physiotherapy bench!
...And how does that make you feel??
