I love the low angle of the sun in this one. Interesting patterns of debris on the floor.
What is the orange-y red thing at the end of the hall? My guess is a traffic cone.
Too much traffic in this hallway. It needs to be slowed down...

As usual, Motts, a great hallway shot!
The chair rails and tall baseboards are great. Another gold mine left to rot.
Nice wide hallways - bet this was quite nice in its day.
Love the light source!
man this place had some horrible colors on the walls
Aw come on, I think the colors are pretty.
Motts, Another unique and mesmerizing shot. When I explain to my kids what is possible with a camera, I show them your photos.
This looks typical of many of the wards.
I worked in this place for many years, and know it very very well, including the morgue. the morgue was a seperate building to this one.
most of these pictures do not this place justice. i spent many a nightshift convinced I'd seen several ghosts.
Also, my name is enscribed on the chapel wall and is still there since 1971.
this picture is amazing!
i'm hoping to do my photoshoot for college here soon
its the perfect setting

big t...
is this place easy to get inside?

I was a CNM from 1986 to 1991 and worked nights by myself doing ward rounds. I visited all of the Laurels wards and never saw any ghosts or felt that the place was at all spooky.
I was a Student then Staff Nurse 78 - 87, also did nights "on the lamp" as the Night NO wouldn't do the outside buildings. Lot of history and atmosphere, but never spooked by anything. In fact, I have always felt very attached to the place in a nice way, even though nice things didn't always happen here in the past......
