Wow.. Absolutely wonderful! Like a dream world!
That is something special!
I love all the different rooftops and their angles.
But living in Maine, I'm also imagining a foot of snow on each rooftop and what a heck of a time it's gonna be trying to use a snow rake to try to get it off!
wow, what a wonerful shot. The Building the lines, the color. all in all. Im in heaven.
love the angel in the sky. WALLPAPER PLEASE!!!!!
Beautiful, just beautiful!
I love these pictures I know you can not give out all of your secrets but what shutter speed do use for these types of pics???
24 seconds at F5.6 with an infrared filter.
Gotta ask-even though it prob been asked- but Motts have you ever published a book or wanted to of your pics and desc.
I'm with cool Joe on this one. This must be a wallpaper.
I will definitely be producing a book at some point, I have been just too busy shooting to begin this project...
Incredible shot, Motts! Like something from an alternate universe.
very cool shot!
wallpaper!
Nothing short of perfect, Motts!
ladyhawke04008, why would you need to rake snow off a roof? When it melts it'll just run off and before that it'll provide extra insulation, no?
OMG incredible!

Made me think of Revelations, or The Rapture type of visual effect. awesome :)
Quite pretty. Love the angle and the sky.
It is lovely...yet completely terrifying to me at the same time.
wallpaper please?
Wow looks like an angle in the sky, looks pretty awsome!
I love this picture; it's probably one of my more favorites in the gallery. The sky effects are fantastic.
Delicious.
That's it! Motts when i get my novel published, I have got to have some of your pic's to accompany it. Can I have your permission?
Please!!!!!!!!
Screw the wallpaper im thinking framed on my bedroom wall. The angle is awsome. It gives off a creepy nightmare before x-mas vibe with the way the tower bends
Is there any Photoshop used? Granted beautiful imags and love the site; just curious

~
Yes I use Photoshop to adjust the color and contrast of the photos.
Wow...absolutely ethereal...nice job!!
That angel adds an exciting and awe appeal to the photo. I would like to believe there are angels watching over all who are within mental hospitals, the staff and the patients. This photo gets and A+ from me!!
Wicked, wild, frightening, intriguing, mysterious and illuminating....the adjectives are endless in trying to describe your wonderful photo!
Snow angel coming to touch tree-top orn.

I'm not sure if I went over this before, but on slope roofs such as this you may notice little spades or fences or cleats or whatever to keep the snow on the roof so it doesn't slide off en masse and kill someone.
One word - WALLPAPER!
beautiful motts!
My Aunt had her wedding blessed in this church amazing
As has already been said, you rake snow off a roof to prevent huge chunks of it from sliding off as it partially thaws. You also rake it off (especially that heavy wet snow that decimates tree branches and power lines) when it gets more than a few inches deep so that its weight doesn't cause your roof to collapse, and to prevent leaks when it begins to melt but can't drain because ice dams have formed in the gutters.
Hello there Motts. May i ask, what is it like going to these type of places. Have you ever had an unexplainable experience, such as paranormal phenomena? You'd think you'd bump into a ghost by now. :) let me know. thanks.
PHOTOSHOP!

Blue hue, how peaceful....
I was a patient in " Ward D" in Easter 1985 and remember visiting the chapel for the Easter Sunday service. Some of the congregation were in a bad way but the service was very moving indeed. I left the hospital on Easter Monday and had to walk home as thetre were no buses!
