The red in this shot fascinates me for some reason. Very nice Mr. Motts.
The extensive damage is sure evident in this one.
High dependency as in violent ward or high dependency as in people with major physical limitations that require a lot of care?
I love it!!! I really, really do. Any history on this specific department?
heh, looks like a zombie apocalypse aftermath.
strange that i see beauty in things like this, but i suppose im not alone
Yeah you gotta keep on your toes and be ready for those sudden zombi out breaks.
Aww too bad somebody broke all the windows. It looked like a cool room (still does actually).

Good question cyber, does anyone know the answer?
is the high dependency for breaking things and making holes?
Blue x's this time to contrast the pretty smashed things.
Maybe drugs?????
i have to admit that the sign over the door is bugging me. why couldn't they centre the words? why?

i am SO ocd.
Never mind what I said in posting of last picture!!! DOUH!
The red painted doors were dsigned to keep hospital staff on high alert inside these rooms.
Crazy man inside so look at the red and think p"panic"
interesting picture.

Regards, Justin

Surly Girl, the words are left justified
What is 'The Rowan'?
According to the NHS: "A high dependency unit (HDU) is an area for patients who require more intensive observation, treatment and nursing care than are usually provided on a general ward. It is a standard of care between the general ward and full intensive care."
Why can't I live near a great building like this. :(
Looks like someone went to town with a few hammers.

Signed: An American Soldier stationed in Germany.
High dependancy and red are going hand-in-hand quite well, and are skipping down the street as we know it.
I work with the guys who left all the X's and numbers and all the holes in the walls ... They were doing an asbestos survey so had to be thorough.. mystery solved lol
Time proves to be vicious and volatile once again, very cool picture.
My names Rowan!!!!!!
i know that high depency ment violent ward at whittingham
suzi
i grow up so close to this place and it was great in a nice way
Oh yes! The Rowan unit! Got smashed there many times.
we have this sign!!!!!!!!
I love how the red of the doors draws your attention to the center of the picture. Very nice picture, my friend. Very nice.
I have to admit I would love to have that sign at home.
surly girl... iagree stuff llike that annoys me too
Aww... Crapola D: That's my name. >.>
Cynder, we're in the same boat.
Good question-Why the heck is absolutely nothing centered on that sign??
most of the damage in the whole place has been casused by teenagers going there for a thrill to be scared... smashing things up... i shud no iv seen it first hand
Is that a nurse behind the glass??
The red screams bio-hazard, like you are going to catch what ever the poor people here had.
high dependancy means, for patients who need a higher level of care, so that would mean the patients on this ward were either violent or dangerous
