SWEEEET!!!
What an awesome shot! I love the rays of light peeking in from the bottom. The lines in this are fabulous. I love the contrast of the arched curves and the cut-away peak against the intersecting straight lines.
Thats not just a window. That is a wok of art.
Well said Unca Ton! This looks almost like a painting!
Swell details! :-)
What a cool shot! I don't think it would ever have occurred to me to take the photo in that way, but it really works well. I'm puzzles by those drip marks, which seem to drip up...
I love the grren in this shot. It's what makes the whole thing pull together.
wow its amazing the dedication and true art they put in this building is absoulty amazing!!!!
Once again, an unbelievable shot. Not many people would even think to take this picture.
Yet another great one. Imagine how much it would cost to build buildings with detail like this today. Oh well. As long as they don't build 60's and 70's style, anymore....:-p
Yep----it would be really nice to have the work ethic and artistry back !
It would be beautiful to have it back. But u won't see real limestone walls and window frames. That would b too time consuming and therefore costly. What they do now is use plaster and different manmade products to give the look but it is not even close in quality.
i agree with arntzville. why are those drip marks appearing to drip up?
i wonder if they are actually fungi or mossy mold, growing upward from the blackish "stems"....?
It's amazing how there was so much care put into the construction of this facility and hardly any put into the people it was built for.
Lola, are you sure your comment is fair and factual?
i agree with Lola. It is amazing how even horse hair and plaster over lathe can last longer than pressed gypsum between treated paper.
You have an amazing gift and eye for detail. Thanks!
So much detail in this place.... awesome!
WOW so old and thers so much detail but yet theres hardly anything on the picture this amazise me and i think that art like that should be worth millons !!!!
