Fallen

Fallen

Some of the decor has simply fallen off the warping wood.

Looks like it could use some elmers glue.
Good catch!

So, how creepy would it have been to have been in this crypt when the medallion fell off into the handle like that?

*clink*

(!!!) whatwasthat?
Those handles do fall off, and not always after the funeral.

Here is one famous case:

GOSH I LOVE THOSE HANDLES. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THOSE ON MY KITCHEN CABINETS INSTEAD OF STUPID 1980'S STYLED HANDLES!
What a RICH find.
so regal looking so beautiful
even in decay the work is still so beautiful , you took some amazing pictures
Just goes to show that TIME MARCHES ON . It stops for no thing or NO ONE,
Hate to be a know-it-all, but isn't it:

Time stops for no man.
PML! Shows how much I know, it's:

Time waits for no man!

Well spank my ass and call me Charlie!
Felyne; Well, I can call you Charlie but I don,t do that spankin' stuff. I stand corrected, MY BAD (maybe). Technically I was just expressing my own personal feelings not a quotation. Do you see Quotation marks any place?? NOT MY BAD.
Some comments have reminded me of a bbok I have. It's the screenplay version of Stephen King's "The green mile." Frank Darabont wrote it and in the very beginning it states this,
"We each owe a death, there are no exceptions...
PML Nevermore!

No, it's my bad dude. In my defense, I was intoxicated when I posted that.
Felyne- you may be on to something here! Jimmy Buffet's next great hit: "Why Don't we get drunk and ...look at Motts' lateste gallery!" On second thought, it doesn't have the same ring as the original.
i've enjoyed a few cocktails and gotten lost in
the world that motts reveals to us! but really,
i am more drunk on how beautiful this gallery
is, and how the photography just keeps getting better and better, unbelievably.
This is my favorite shot ever! It is like a
beautiful trompe-leoile painting. If i could
paint canvasses as good as mott's
fotos i would stop painting!
The subject matter is stunning, but your shots
make more of them than i think anyone but you
could imagine or achieve really! it is really
incredible. I love the story of how you
practically stumble onto this fantastic little
place too..
motts, i have always wondered what
influence your photography has had on
your musical life/endeavors, and vice versa,or just in general how you are affected by
multiple artforms or crosspollination of
mediums?
for me your work seems to trigger multiple
points of cultural/artisic references,
simultaneously, without being subject to
any of them. That is alot harder than it sounds, to pull off as you must know! And for myself, like all of the
best art, it makes me want to create again myself. In other words, inspirational.
these shots are just fuckin Grand....
Thank you for the kind words; I enjoy creating things on the dark side, and it is reflected in my music, drawings, paintings, and photographs, each in their own varying aspect. I surround myself with these things and it makes me happy.

I'm glad you and others are inspired to create your own works, to me that is the greatest compliment!
Your work Motts truly feed the inspiration of others. As I just happensd to cross this sight by coincidence, your perspective has helped me over my writer's block in a big way. I need a visual aid, and your eye in photography is the cure!
This is a really nice picture. It's pretty cool.
That there's some darn fancy decoration.
your use of flashlighting is very nice
That thing has fallen and it can't get up.
What's that tube-like thing on the lower left? Looks like an esophagus on a sarcophagus!
