Having a great deal of experience with The Elder Scrolls series I can tell you that this pouch most likely contained 40 gold pieces.

Its not a satchel, its one of those scottish doofers... damn, my friends husband wore it at their wedding.... it has a name... let me find out.

Doesn't look like a sporran to me. Dress sporrans (which you'd assume this would be) usually have a metal frame at the top to close and a lot of them are fur rather than just leather. Kind of looks Native American... which is obviously silly.

That would actually be the rotting remains of the cloth covered exterior coffin. The lead inner coffin is about all that's left. Termites, or some other wood eating pest have had a field day over the centuries.

Most likely, there were some interesting decorations on the outer coffin that some idiot decided to "liberate" many years ago.

Sporrans also are decorated with tassels and sometimes fur trim. This is most likely a personal momento. A person may of placed it there outside in rememberance of the one on the inside.

it looks like part of a hand and rotted glove i have seen skin that colar when i was a grave digger years ago some one broke in to a cript and stoll a old womans head man it was a creepy
