Underneath The Arch

Underneath The Arch

The texture in the stone was fascinatingly intricate... most of the castle was constructed with a greenish stone called Gwespyr Rock.

Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! The texture! I love it. The arches look like teeth. :-)
Love it more in B&W
Oh man.. Creepified.
ooo, spooky!
Ok, this might sound silly, but the texture in the archways reminds me of the artwork in DIsney's Sleeping Beauty movie...Malificent's castle ...and the kings castle as well,.. were drawn with lots of texture, (and teeth too!)
incredible shot Mr. Motts!
Makes you feel smaaaaaall
Bridge troll's must of hated coming here to pay their taxes!
It's feels like industrial sandpaper to my eyes (in a good way)
Rapunzel's Wish, being a big disneyland and old disney animation fan, this looked familiar to me too. You can see how similar the texture is.

I agree Nance. I would think that falling debri would be an ever present danger to tourists. Beautiful and alluring place.
