Is that actually paint peeling?
The peeling paint looks like hanging cloth.......
probably peeling wallpaper..
Was Geraldo there to see what was inside it?
Wallpaper up the wazoo in this place!! Holy St. Motts!!
I was thinking the same thing about the paint. Reminds me of ghosts in sheets, lol.
Looks like it is paint peeling, cheap paint!
Was there anything in the safe?
Oh my, its not a very *ahem* big one, is it
did you find the gold?
Not just gold!! thats where they had the Holy Grail!!
I can hear the cocco nut horses running off in the distance.
whoaaa, patsy....
Awww..it looks like a mouse's front door. Complete with a mouse-sized door handle. Which is ironic considering most the the people-sized doors in this place don't have door handles.
The peeling just reminds me of skin.
And that just reminds me of a song.
"When will realise that this skin i'm in
hey it isin't mine
When will the kill be too much
meat for me to hide"
It goes something like that.
I instantly thought of Alice in Wonderland as soon as I saw this!

"Suddenly she came upon a little three-legged table, all made of solid glass; there was nothing on it except a tiny golden key, and Alice's first thought was that it might belong to one of the doors of the hall; but, alas! either the locks were too large, or the key was too small, but at any rate it would not open any of them. However, on the second time round, she came upon a low curtain she had not noticed before, and behind it was a little door about fifteen inches high: she tried the little golden key in the lock, and to her great delight it fitted!"
-Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Right you are, good story. Lewis is great writer.
what would you do if the devil was looking for you
Reddll; Thank you for your comment. Brings back memories.
Just in case you want to keep your razors safe from the doctors....
Only one paint peels that way, lead paint. My grandmother used to have it in her closet and when i was little i used to peel it all the time.

Little did we know then the dangers of lead paint.
The devil once lived inside of that very safe. He would escape and terrify thoe who were asleep... when you would hear the screams...that's when he'd hide!
The devil you say! Why, that must have been extremely nerve-wracking.
Sounds exciting!
Was there anything worth observing in the safe? Or was it just plain empty?
Totally empty.
peelin paint... one of the scary bits!!
If you look under the what looks like an aeriel socket to the left of the safe, you can see where the seams of the wall paper meet.
Ive Heard About This Place Before And To See Pictures Like This Is Amazing And Very Interesting,
I May Only be 15 But History Is A Fave Of Mine :)
This Picture Is Amazing, Really Makes You Feel As Though You Are Actually There.
Just to let everyone no, it is defenetly peeling paint! When i was there today, we kept walking past rooms and looking at it thinking it was cloth so in the end we went into one of the rooms and it is paint! We were amazed how paint could turn like that lmao x
it is paint, aliciaa. that what "low sheen" latex paint looks like when it peels off of a glossy oil finish. (sorry, i'm a painter, thats the only reason why i would know that) lol
