That is one GREAT shot Motts!
Wow, the angle is so disorienting. I feel a bit dizzy now...

Awesome shot!
Ditto on the dizziness! I love the shock of green just outside the window compared to the stark gray (white?) of the interior.
once more neat and tidy, nice angle.
**craning neck to get proper angle**
crack, crack, crack.... i see now.....
someone help me put my head back straight!
I've never seen a horizontal electricity outlet before...is that common is Europe?
Not sure about Europe but they are here in New Zealand. Are you kidding that you don't get horizontal ones in Florida?
Seriously..none in New York (where I'm from) either as far as I can remember...but you're also talking to a person who used to think the street sign for dead end streets that said "No Outlet" meant no electricity

=)
You guys are really weird. PML!

We call them sockets here. Wall sockets. But then I was just chatting on another blog about Ice Blocks. We call popsicles IceBlocks, and what you call iceblocks we call icecubes or just plain 'ice'. Oh, and we have NO EXITs not no outlets. hahaha we all speak the same language, yet we dont.

We're all weirdos on this crazy place we call Earth. :)
My grandmothers victorian era house has horizontal electrical outlets... I think is was a common practice "back in the day." Was it Lynne? - hehe
I mostly have vertical outlets in my house but I do have a few that are horizontal.
CAS, you young whippersnapper, I ought to wash your mouth out with soap! >:-(

. . . if I thought my old osteoporotic bones wouldn't crack when I went to grab at you.
:-(
horizontal is
~Me's favorite!
Everytime I see CAS I think I'm talking to myself.... or people are screaming at me.

Horizontal huh... I think I prefer vertical myself.. its so much more... random.... I mean, you can plug in up top or down low.....
All I know is that if I ever see a horizontal outlet I'm gonna be so excited! =)

As they say "simple minds, simple pleasures"

=)
"small things amuse small minds"

My mum is always saying that to me.
you guys great . reading the differances with all of us is like visiting far off places with out leaving home.to see this place would be great.
Yeah, back home (US) the plugs are vertical, but here (Finland) they're horizontal. I love this picture. I just want to climb up to the window and the green outside.
You Guy,s with your Outlets. Here in the U.S. (Illinois) we have both.
It just occured to me that I spent a while fighting with an outlet like this yesterday afternoon. So evidently they're also native to Maine.
No matter how much it dares you Navi, never EVER stick a fork in it! I'm serious, they'll bait you into sticking something metal into them... it's a trap, just so no!
Bad News: If you feel like bashing your head in on sharp corners, it will not happen here.
Good News: All sorts of nasty lung dieseases are in store: Mesothelioma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and Histoplasmosis. So forget the respitory masks and affixiate on mold and dust over an aganizingly long time!
Well, at least they can't knock themselves unconcious and die, they can just jump out the window
AHHHH!!!! The Earth has lost it's axis! Brace yourself!
NEVERMORE gets a point here. IL has outlets & sockets going both ways. Personally, I associate socket with light bulbs. "no outlet" IS a funny way to say "dead end" ...or, for that matter, blind alley! ;) Ice blocks, Felyne? seriously? -BTW, "Davenport" was a brand of convertible sofa/couch. I've also wondered if the Hoover brand of vacuum cleaners has lost it's name copyright in Britain. Here, we may Hoover, but we also Oreck! ;) ;)
