Curve

The fire escapes were surrounded by a inwardly curved fence, I would assume to prevent people from jumping off.

I would say you are correct sir!
Sad thing is .......... I know exactly your location in this shot!! :o)
Awesome angle
Looks like one of those optical illusion drawings where you don't know whether it's leaning to the left or right!
Wait, let me re-phrase that (it's been a long day)...where you can't figure out whether you're looking at the inside or outside, it could be both....ack, I dunno how to explain it!
Sarah...sounds like you are thinking of the kinds of drawings done by the artist, M. C. Escher. The ones where even the stairs are going right side up and upside down...and all at the same time.
Oh I know what you mean, like in the end of the movie Labyrinth.
Premium angles :] Lovely motts
I love love love this angle...And the curved shape of that fence thing is really cool. I guess in panic people would try to jump off...or you know, if they got outside somehow and were depressed...But anyways. Really cool shot!
*knows how to get past those fences, and has taught it to many a people on psych wards*
Own... that would just spoil the fun of starting a fire...
The angles are really sensational.
The angle is great, but I'd duck down so I wouldn't get snagged on the fencing.
It Looks Like The Fence Is Curved All Over The Place If ou Get Waht I Mean
Love this leaning feel to this shot! Its like im falling!
