Serrated

Not sure what this was, but the jagged edges of the remaining tile were interesting...

Love the angle of this shot
Me too Kadee. Wow, rusticles!
yeah i agree with the people above me, great picture motts.
Motts, this reminds me of a picture from one of the other asylums with a row of sinks on a similar wall.
looks like a chain saw
I know what it is...something to get tetanus from. ;)
Incredible angle on this one! Love it!
It looks like something u put gears into. Maybe a lift for the handicapped?
Yes...what an ANGLE! I am getting dizzy looking at it!
wow motts i love all the diffrent angles you used with this gallery its absoulutly breath taking
I feel Im going to get tetnus just looking at it.
It's almost like some monstrous saw. Sweet.
Very interesting perspective!
looks like some sort of latch to me
Fantastic angle
Is this where the baseboard heating pipes were mounted? The copper is the first to 'disappear'. Looks like the tile floor was laid in a diamond pattern and the 'jagged edges' are all that remain. Unless of course I've got the whole 'up and down' thing wrong!

GREAT SHOT!!
I want to climb it... as odd of angle as it is.
Isnt it amazing how things change in such short time?
Don't get bitten by that thing!
I'm pretty sure Weird Woman is correct, I remember seeing things like this when I did remodeling in homes years ago. The heating pipes would be attached to these anchors between the dissipation fins.
the wired woman is right. back in 1996 they were all still in taked including the floor windows the lot. it was clean just like they had just moved out. i think it is upsetting the way it is now all that wonderful arcitecet gone
the floor was parquet floor which butted up to tile edging. The metal on the wall was a long radiator which was covered to prevent people with learning disability burning themselves, Thats what we call them these days.
i love this image
Yeh David Salt is right, All the buildings I went in when they were first abandoned had the most wonderful parquet wooden floors, over time the local kids got in, ripped up the floors, piled them up and burned them, crying shame.
it looks like a soap dispencer to me
