This shot reminds me of looking down the barrel of a shotgun. Unless you mentioned that it was burned out, I don't think I would have noticed that. The arches are what brings this shot into an "intention getter".
I have to agree with Sketchie, Until I read the description I couldn't tell that it had been burned. Gorgeous photo Motts!
I feel like I want to run down the hallway.
Hang on to something! The hallway is stretching!
hehe Navi, running down those corridors is wiers...it sounds like someone chasing you.
Love that title, Motts...GREAT hallway shot!
I love how the paint has been peeled (either by age or by fire) away to reveal the orange and ugly stripe pattern underneath the more bland gray/white.

Lynne - when you read this, can you look at the first image of Hellingly and see if you have an idea of what my image (link in comment) is?? THANKS, HON!
How intricate!!
I love shots like this
It's amazing what fire can do. It kills and deteriorates, but creates a beauty of its own....

Great shot =)
wow its amazing just think of all the people and souls that walked down this corridor absoulutly breath taking
Motts, this is one of my favorite shots.
looks like there is someone behind the door at the end of the corridor
It would be really scary if there were a face in one of the windows at the end of the hall... ::shudder::

Nice photo. :)
I want to walk down this hallway and listen to the echo of my footsteps....
this must be part of those long interconnecting corridors mentioned at the start of the gallery
DEAD MAN WALKING, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this. But why were the hallways burnt?
I have the same inkling as Navi!
A long, boring and seemingly endless hallway.

Where are my rollerblades when I need them...
Those doors at the end are perfectly framed in light........what a focus!
This seems similar to one of my recent nightmares, where you're running to reach the door but the hall keeps going and going and going... But I'm lazy and I never reach the door. Wonderful shot Motts!
I remember walking down these corridors every day. A nurse student there from 1993 -1996 hate that it is now just a wasted space being wrecked. Part of my history.
