I love the shape of that building

have just realised i am now that person who appears thirty times on the main page and makes everyone tut and sigh...
Beautiful architecture. I love this building
Great photo all around, Motts! Background, foreground, angle, light. Love it.
A gingerbread castle yes?
Oh, the shapes! The colours! Mr. Motts this one is SO wallpaper!
Oh Wow! What a beautiful design! Love the little designs on the sides of the structure. Why can't buildings look like this anymore? What a lost art. So glad that you were able to capture it on film, so it will not be forgotten!
The outbuildings rule! they look awesome and they are usually full of equipment n stuff.
That is so neat. You don't see buildings like this around my way...old or otherwise! What a waste :-(
What a GORGEOUS friggin work of ART! What a SHAME they cant make buildings like that anymore....
Amen Unca Tony! It's evem more of a shame they can't save em and put them to good use like tours for all to visit!
Is that a skylight in the smaller structure? What beauty! Sadness. Not to be saved, to be forever gone.
We just don't see stuff like this in America!
What lovely architecture.

They just don't build 'em like they used to...now they're all boxy looking industrial things....devoid of any charm whatsoever.
Indeed... Beautiful Architecture...
Hm. That kind of reminds me of Chestnut Lodge in Maryland. I dont know why. It might just be the white windows and brick building. But thats the first thing I thought of when I saw this.
I guess it's safe to assume this too had been abandoned?
Looks like an old elementary school I went too years ago. Neat building !!
absolutely beautiful! Doesnt seem too vandalized either.
They tore this down?!!?? I agree this is a wonderfully charming piece of architecture. It looks friendly yet upscale. LOL!!! >sigh<
was a beautiful building. it's a shame only rich, snobby people can afford architexture like that
Beautiful architecture indeed, but not only the rich can afford it, anyone with land can have architecture like this nowadays. It just isn't the architecture of the times, unfortunetly.. =(
All these buildings look structurally sound for the most part...it's such a shame they're being torn down. I want to live in one. Like this little house...that's not that little...haha.
would make a nice block of flats
Girljaye, I think I saw some buildings like this in Chicago.
The end wall style is known as a Dutch Bell gable.
