Blackened Windows

Blackened Windows

These rooms might have been converted to offices later on, or perhaps the need for an observation window was no longer.

Very Modernistic!
Makes me dizzy. Especially with those icky colours.

Not to say it isn't an amazing photo...
I know - he's tryin' to make us all bomit, I think . . . . Oooooooh! I gots to bomit now! =8-o
Someone grab Lynne a pook bucket!
Maybe" Ralph" resided there!
Pet Pete, you're following me all over the boards tonight aren't ya? :-)

I notice that in this bunch Motts has used this technique quite a bit and it really gives a different prospective to the shots!
When they tape black paper to the backs of the windows of some doors at school i always use them for mirrors. :P
They look like they're a bit high up when they WERE used as observation windows, too.
I lovehte angle of the shot. It does make you dizzy though...: )
I take back the comment about the UK hospitals being more deteriorated. This is an awesome shot :)
Somehow this area looks alot cleaner then the others.
Ok, I'm not a photographer, but I gotta ask: how do you get your tripod to do these tilted shots? Just curious...
It definitely evokes a feeling of unease, and the way you have things arranged makes it feel clostrophobic as well... That's a good thing, but still freaks me out...
This is my first time to post a comment. But to me the fourth open door, it looks like there is somebody in a white jaket. With the way the pic. is tipped, it looks like the person is walking right out the door. Or is falling out of the room by the tipping, like, in the movie the Poseidon Adventure, when the ship starts to flip over.
damn I would NOT want my office in one of these rooms.
Nice doors, the patterns and stuff. Very cool. The angle seems to accentuate it. Wonder why they blocked the windows out, and if it was a good or bad thing..
one door has no lock ... all the others have it.
what are those things on the floor ... cables ?
Oh the irony of it!
I like the colors and angle of this shot. Everything is very artistic! :)
wow the angle on this one is great!!! i love doors. great pic.
The thing on the floor will probably be a fire hose that someone's run out along the corridor.
nice
The middle door , (without the lock) seems to be a cheap reproduction of the other doors. The rectangles look to be routered grooves instead of actual recessed panels.
My attention was direted to the floor and this long rope\hose on it. What I see is a hangmans rope with a noose at the far end. Does anyone else see that ao am I just Perverted\Dark???
reminds me of a massage parlour
I love the angle here! Haha, you can tell I really like pictures that are predominantly one color.
