Maxiform

Maxiform

Looks to be an ironing machine of sorts... there were washers and dryers in this greenhouse looking extension.

Jebus! =8-o
It's shaped like a wide coffin-eeewww creepy
MaxiForm still makes sheet folding equipment in Europe, so I am guessing that this is something similiar.
*sigh* Okay I've tried to stay away but I have to say it...... to me this looks just like a time machine that irons your pants while you travel. I saw one just yesterday. :-)
Help! I tried to google this, but couldn't find it. Can someone give me more info on this fascinating machine? I DO like Jude's description, however . . .
It looks like the pant leg presses we used at the last dry cleaner I worked at. We also had machines that looked similar to this to press the shirts.
Jude - it's scary just how much you and I think alike.
An ironing board that has its own house. What won't they think of next!
How about an ironing board that irons without you there?
Ok, I've been quiet all this time, but DAMN Motts! You have more talent than three "normal" photographers combined, and this shot really shows it! Holy carp!!!
It's a WOMKAVATOR! It goes up, down, sideways and diagonal! Pick a floor, any floor and press a button! Just don't push that Red Button!
I've sure missed you, Bill!
wow this is dePRESSING......hahaha get it....ok that was a bad joke....moving on
Now that is one cool machine.
its a big ironing board??!!??
I like the ginormous ironing board, but I was shocked that the vandals that broke the stained windows didn't break the glass over the Maxiform
It IS a pants press, you guys - you put the pant leg in upside down & the (bent down) outside board presses the fabric onto the metal plate behind, leaving your pantses all nice & wrinkledy-less
meet george jetson.....jane his wife....doo doo dooo doooo...
Brilliant, Heather.
Jude, YES YES YES!!!! You are Soooo right. I took a time machine to this time period from the yr 2929 which was similar. This is one of the earlier models. Mine didn't have the ironing board. Ours was wrinkle free.
"Maxiform" sounds like a company name that should make girdles.
This seems to be an odd place for a....whatever the hell it is! I feel like there should be planters or something in there. ;-)
Love the cables an the left, would be worth a close-up!
c'mon, guys! we all know that this is an old fashion tanning booth!
No reference to the Stephen King story -- The Mangler?
Ah yes, the maxiform orgasmatron, model 3000....
Haven't seen one of these in years!
