Oh God, I love it - the colors are so incredible - very soothing and serene. That's some place I would love to be!
Hauntingly beautiful!
Mr. Motts, have we told you lately how talented you are?!

I could sit in that spot for hours, watching the light dappling on the walls, and shining softly on the doors....... yum.
I second you, Lynne - such nice colours in this place, none of that awful pepto-bismal pink or shocking yellow. These are colours I'd put in my house!
I love this shot, I nearly choked on a sunflower seed when I saw it. I was thinking "I need to live here," just because I like the doors.
Love the shades of blue.
Interesting how each door is a different design. Gives the shot even more depth and personality.
I agree with Jude - I find myself wishing I was there as the sun came down around these walls...so peaceful .....and the lighting in this one "splended"
Very stark and creepy...It almost looks like a rather pristine doorstep stepping out into the rubble.
Is it just me or don't those doors have handles or knobs?
beeeeeautiful. thats the only word i can come up with.
Thank you D.Prince, we shall sit there together. :-)

Ladyhawke good observation! I didn't even notice the difference in the doors!
Thanks, Jude. : )
This picture REALLY gives me the strong sensation that I am standing in this hallway. I just have to put my hand out and I can touch the doors.
And Nancy~ The door on the right has a handle on the left side of it.
On the left handed door, I can see the hinges on the left of this door, but not a handle or knob on the right side of this door. Maybe it was taken? Or maybe the left is a swinging door? Maybe that's why the doors are different designs? Hmmm... Curiouser and curiouser! Where's Alice when you need her? : )
in my mind all I can picture is the two twin girls from the shining coming from behind the door saying "come play with us"
i love the shadows , it has a calming effect .
"We want to play with you....forever..and ever...and ever!" *Shrudder*
hehe and what shall we play??
Oh wow. Favorite shot so far.

I love love love the color. And the lighting. Fantastic shot!
My old bedroom was painted this wonderful shade of blue. It is a cheerful and comforting color. A good choice for a hospital.

It looks like maybe you buzzed your way into that room? See the little boxes by the doors? Maybe?
This picture just calms me down (which is nice, because Im manic depressive). I feel like Im underwater.
What a pretty shade of blue!
I find more and more, the archetecture of this building makes it feel...less institutional and sterile, you know? Instead of looking and feeling like a hospital, it looks and feels like a church, or places that are comfortable. Especially this shot. It makes me think of a hallway in a household, you know?
I thought the same think Kassie, this looks more like an upstairs hallway in an old farmhouse than an asylum to me.
I love the colors in this, so soothing.
OMG, I love this shot, the color blue is georgous!
you sure know how to make the very most of your available light, Motts. Nice work, the whole set!
LOVE IT. it's soo eerie, with the colors and all...
Looks very ghostly.
LOVE the blue...(and I don't even LIKE blue). The dappled walls are sooooo soothing.
