What a shame! But the feel that is left to the building is marvelous - very somber yet majestic.
I'd love to see what the stained glass looked like. Beautiful shot, Motts!
The first thing that comes to mind is NoHo.
What a beautiful design!
I wonder what the images were in the stained glass.
It's a shame the glass was gone, but the shot is still beautiful.
Lol, i was on the picture before this thinking "hall..hmm..looks like ribs" Then the screen loaded. = P Glad you saw it
What exactly was this room used for?
Looks like English kids got to the windows first. :(

Nice shot, Motts. :)
Why do I feel that nobody was ever here. Why don't I feel a presence. Am I losing it, is it Helingly ? Is something just missing?
stunning pic
wow im being serious this picture just totaly took my words and left me awstruck its beautiful its stunning
The texture, details, colors, architexture...everything. I need to get the effort to reach for my thesaurus because I'm sure everyone is getting tired of my lame vocabulary lol.
Screw this. If mental patients got such a great place to "chillax" in the 1900's I WISH I was a mental patient then. I mean LOOK at this place! It's Gorgeous!!! If only thay's keep these places running....
I love the maroon and sky blue...I would've never thought to put them together but it works wonderfully. This place could've been made into something amazing (but then we wouldn't have these fantastic shots from Motts).
Thats a shame. I wonder if there are any pictures elsewhere on the web from when the building was still in use? Maybe we can see what the windows looked like. Im sure they were beautiful...
PERFECT TITLE MOTTS
breathtaking...the title adds so much effect. and i would LOVE to see what those windows were like when this room was in good condition
Thats a shame...its rare that you see lovely pieces of stained glass anymore, unless your going to church....but this is a beautiful picture Motts...
God, please let me see the UK before I die. Amen.

If I should die before I wake, at least I got to see these...
This is amazing. I would love to know when you went round. I went round very recently and lots of the stuff in these photos has been removed. Its still amazing though. Morgue was the most creepy! It is so massive we explored for 5 hours and didnt see half of this incredible place. Your rock
Stained glass windows?.....I weep for their loss! Is there no respect for hard work in art? Stained glass isn't just stamped out of a factory! Someone's workmanship is lost forever!!!
lol......my last comment was about ribs!

damm kids !!
It eats away at me to see something this beautiful go to waste...
