Holy hotdogs! I'm the first to see 'em! What a treat!
I think I recognize this board from Alias' website - is it the same one?
Wow I'm speechless so wow will have to do
Yeeesss, a new location Yahoo!
New pics!! WOOHOO!! Thanks Motts!!
Looks like a bit of a treacherous hike there...
Yay, new photos. And the ever-present fluorescent lights (reminds me of my Calculus class from senior year, oddly enough).
Yesss!!! :-)

This first one sure reminds me of a certain avatar (that's just been changed) that a certain site admin used to have!
Ooooo...new stuff!

I love the UK. I've been looking forward to these.
Damn! I was just about to go to bed! My allergies are making me groggy and I"m feeling tired and cranky! And now I find this new gallery! Really, Motts, can't you put it up at MY convenience?? Must I be torn like this?? (Extremely cool though! I'll give it a quick overview, hit the hay, and have a very pleasurable morning exploring it in depth. Good night.)
An electric snake!
Yea, UK Shots, Finally.

But Thanks Motts.
Thank God, I've been checking this site religeously every single day since June 10th waiting for these! Awesome!
Yay! New pics!

Quite an angle on this one! I take it this is a light track or something that fell from the ceiling?
Err, nevermind the above question, I was so busy looking at the picture I forgot to read the description >.<
Something from my country. Thank you, Motts.
wow how creepy, and to think those lights were working at one time and belonged on the ceiling!!!!!!!!
Finally, new pictures. I can't tell you how long I have been waiting for them.
I like the angle, its catchy, it makes you feel hooked, looking for a way to dodge.
Looks very very dangerous. Hope you didn't go down this hallway!
this is surreal
Nice depth of field.
Thanks Mr. Motts, new pics!!! I am still here! Ed from Oregon Hi Lynne also!! ;-)
Hi, Sweet Pea!
[Everyone else, please turn your head while we briefly socialize.]
No static at all, Ed! ;-)
imagine the sound these must have made when they slammed into the floor

great pic!
Ooooh, the colors!
DUDE THIS IS AWOSMINESS I LOVE THIS PICTURE IM SORRY BUT IT MIGHT REPLASE THE DENTISTS CHAIR IN THE MET GALLERY actully i dont know but by l;ooking at this pphoto im going to have fun with this gallery thanks motts!!
-celebrates- First: YAY NEW PHOTOS -parties-

Anyways, this shot is cool, cause of the shapes and angles this stuff decays at. Fascinating, really. At first i thought they were air ducts or something that fell from the above roof. Great first photo!
Can you say vertigo???
wow motts, you've gathered quite a following...everyone seems to be very excited about your new pics...look at all these comments!

i admit though that i have been checking everyday for new galleries as well...i love your shots, you have such an awesome eye for photography....YOU ROCK :)
oh happy days are here again!!!!!!!!!!! thanks motts! as usual its worth the wait
That looks like it was a fun shot to take. Nice focus, not to shrot of focal length, and not to long to take away from it. :)
thanks for letting me post this, Motts)

Can someone tell me what the large panel is used for? not the electrical and telephone outlets)....

http://i55.photobucket...win/MysteryPanel.jpg

This has what look like 4 sections to the black-faced panel, but I've never seen one in use, so I wondered what it's used for?? THANKS EVERYONE!!
Might be an emerhency panel where it lights up in one of the sectors to tell you where the emergency is dunno otherwise
i'm soooo happy they are up I'm beendeprived of the internet because of the phone company.dumb people pictures are awsome. love ya. Motts.
amazing shot
it's almost posed like a figure in a crucifix.

thanks so much for getting these up here
it reminds me of the barn at an old tb Hospital where I once worked in Maryland (now a gleaming life care center). The lovely victorian barn that had once housed the hospital's cattle and pigs burned rather spectacularly back in the eighties. Combing through the wreckage a few days later, I found 1 1/2 inch iron rods that had tied the frame together. The fire had been so hot that the rods became molten and as they fell, they assumed the shape of whatever timbers they had hit on the way down.
Autumn Twin,

Can't tell from the pic. Do you have another one that has more detail? I can take it to work next week and ask the Building & Grounds guys.
Lynne,

I used my cell phone's crappy camera to take that shot. Upon looking closer at it, I couldn't see much further detail....it had the stainless steel "frame" and what appeared to be a glass front. I wasn't sure if it was for emergency purporses or some other odd use.
OK, next week I'll show it to the crew and see what they say.
It looks a lot like an emergency O2 shut-off valve. But it is very close to the ground. Ususally those are eye level to make breaking the glass or removing the plastic easier. I've also seen "Code Blue" buttons down like that - but those fell out of favor because equipment kept activating them.
I've been "away", browsing different sites and I gotta tell you, Motts, NO ONE compares to you. Your photography is really awsome.
Holy shit my braains twistinnnng ........cool effect UR the BEst
que chigona x) congrats
Wow, what a treat!
Acrobatic light fixtures!
INCREDIBLE!
has any body else been to this place and been lock in the place, by who ever partrol the place it was a 1st for me after many year of walking round these places + has anybody seen the full size arcade machine just wasting away
hey LikesSmokingWeedYahoo...... How did you get out once you were locked in?
And, are you asking about the machine becase you came accross one? or because you are looking for one.
somewhere in one of the workshops we came to find an old 80s retro full size arcade thing, and we were like, oh my god why on earth was this lefted there
When we got lock in AKA the holes in the big gate type thing, that goes all the way round, we had to go under the gate
Then walking away from the place cover in dirt from walking around the place we bump into the partrol people, it was time to go
Twist....and SHOUT but only the echoes remain Motts+me +E.C.T oh how happy I would be
Marjor update
the site has been sold, the chance of getting caught is now much higher, if you are planing to vised this site, be prepaied to run very fast and have a quick car near by and be fin enought to fit under the wooden boards, that now go the whole way around the building
A certain irony in that they now keep people OUT...of the building
though I can't quite put my finger on it, this pic kinda freaks me out for some reason
It does look like some kinda a snake ....scary looking one too....Nice photo Motts....
the light resembles a figure to me almost like one of the patients thats trapped and struggling to get out
