when I left the Bronx in the early 90's alot of abandoned bldgs had boarded windows with the window shade thing painted on them. I think it was a feeble attempt at making the area look less "menacing"?

As soon as I started to read the intro to this location I thought:' this one will be different ' ;
upon seeing the first photo on the intro page
(in black and white) I thought : ' that's bright ' ;
but now that I've entered it I think : ' 'COLORFULL!'
